HISTORY

  • Trengrove & Blunts origins began in 1922 with W.H Trengrove founding an architecture firm in Christchurch.
  • In 1953 John Trengrove took over his fathers firm and was joined by Keith Marshall. The company became Trengrove, Trengrove & Marshall.
  • Upon Keith Marshalls retirement in 1976 Richard Blunt (who had worked for the company for many years) became a director and the company became Trengrove & Blunt Architects.
  • John Trengrove's son William became a director in 1994 upon Johns retirement.
  • In 2005 Richard Blunt stepped down as a director and William was joined by David Mckay & Daryl Partridge who are the directors to this day.

    Trengrove and Blunt Architects Ltd is a Christchurch based practice providing architectural services for a wide range of commisions including multi storey office buildings, residential, commercial, Industrial, Educational and Health related buildings.

    In recent years provided Architectural Services for major clients including Lincoln University, St George's Hospital, Christchurch Hospital, Holly Lea retirement Village and Cathedral Grammar school.

    The office prides itself on its high level of technology using up to the minute equipment and software (currently using Archicad 13). The ability to produce 3d rendered perspectives gives clients a clearer and more focused understanding of their project.
